Miss Jones - Assistant Headteacher & Year 6 Teacher

I came to All Saints’ School when I was a trainee teacher and was fortunate enough to gain a teaching post here. Since joining the school, I have taught briefly in Year 1 and spent a number of years in the Juniors, where I have taught in each year group.

I currently teach in Year 6 and I enjoy working with the older pupils and preparing them for secondary school. A good sense of humour goes a long way in my class and I find that it helps me to build up a strong rapport with my pupils. Since teaching in the Juniors, I have had fantastic opportunities to attend residential courses with pupils.  Whilst at the school, I spent a term out the classroom on a sabbatical course to speak Welsh, which is something I still enjoy learning.

One of my hobbies is playing netball, which I have enjoyed since I was in Primary School. I also enjoy skiing and cycling with my family when the opportunities arise. I have been a supporter of Wrexham AFC from a young age (resilience is obviously one of my strong points!).  Travelling to different countries and exploring areas within them is also something I particularly like doing during my holidays. I am fairly adventurous too and have been paragliding and white water rafting in recent years!
