Mrs Baker
Early Years Teacher
I came to All Saints’ School as a trainee teacher and enjoyed its ethos and environment so much that I did not want to leave! I was fortunate enough to secure a teaching post and have experience across both Foundation Learning and the junior years.
As a reception teacher I support pupils as they make the transition from nursery into the routines and expectations of full time school.
I am a trained Trauma Informed Schools practitioner and Forest School Leader, passionate about the Forest School ethos and the many benefits it brings to children's physical and mental health and wellbeing. I have a real love of the outdoors and strive to make learning engaging, meaningful and memorable by taking learning beyond the classroom whenever possible.
Alongside this, I have a passion for creativity and enjoy providing opportunities for children to explore, imagine, create and express themselves through a range of enriching experiences both in the classroom and extra curricular opportunities.
I organise our school council which in turn runs our annual Book Fair promoting the importance of books and a love of reading for pleasure.
As a mum to two very active children, when I am not in school I am usually busy taxiing them to a variety of sports clubs and music lessons.
