I am currently Reception teacher and the Leader of Learning for Early Years, supporting staff and children from ages 2 to 5 across our Early Years provision. Having had the opportunity to teach in most year groups throughout my career, I feel most at home working within the Foundation Phase.

I am passionate about creating meaningful, stimulating and enjoyable learning experiences, particularly through outdoor learning. I strive to provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where every child feels valued, supported and inspired to reach their full potential.

One of the aspects of my role that I enjoy most is building positive relationships with our youngest pupils and their families. I feel privileged to support children and parents during their first experiences of school, helping them to settle, grow in confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Outside of school, I am a proud mum to two teenage boys, and much of my time is spent supporting their love of sport, whether that is attending cricket and football matches or cheering them on from the sidelines. I also enjoy keeping active through yoga, Pilates and swimming, as well as reading and spending quality time on family adventures with my husband and sons.
