Jayne Harrison
School Counsellor
I am delighted to be joining the All Saints' School Achievement, Wellbeing and Inclusion team. I am looking forward to supporting pupils to develop their emotional wellbeing by helping them to build confidence and resilience.
I have had the privilege of working with children, young people and their families for thirty years. As a secondary school teacher I was always part of the pastoral team. I worked closely with outside agencies including Action for Children and this made me decide to change career.
As a person centred counsellor, I work in diverse ways to make counselling accessible. I have found that engaging in an enjoyable activity together creates a safe space where children want to talk to me. I believe that working with families creates lasting positive change and I will always communicate with a child's support network as part of my work.
Outside of work I love gardening, walking my dog Ziggy and exploring new places.
