The children enjoyed a discovery day on our new topic, Extreme Earth. They worked in small groups to research facts about volcanoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes and floods. They used atlases to locate volcanoes and earthquakes across the world and studied aftermath photographs. They also explored a survival bag and its contents and thought about what they would include. We are all very excited about starting this new topic!
