Brymbo Heritage Project (Years 3/4)
This event will take place on 01/10/2024
Introduction
Two well-established community groups at Brymbo Enterprise Centre have decided to create textile panels, which will tell Stori Brymbo across the ages.
This project will give young people and their families the opportunity to be part of Stori Brymbo.
The children’s drawings will become the inspiration for the textile groups to create the panels.
Aims:
*The children will hear and explore a story from Brymbo’s past
*They will be invited to respond to it through drama, speaking and listening and visual art.
*They will create their own artwork which will contribute to the Stori Brymbo textile panels.
*They will engage with the history and story of their local area and will contribute to a project involving the whole community
