Shared Prosperity Fund

We have engaged across three major projects over the past four years as part of the Shared Prosperity Fund programme. This funding has enabled the school to:
- Engage a significant number of adults and community members in lifelong learning and skill development opportunities.
- Support progression into learning, training and employment.
- Deliver sustained, meaningful impact beyond initial engagement.
- Further strengthen the school’s role as a community anchor for learning and wellbeing.
People and Skills Project
Our People and Skills project has had a powerful and lasting impact across the local community, engaging adults who are often hardest to reach and supporting them to build confidence, skills and wellbeing.
Through a range of inclusive activities, including community gardening, life skills sessions and targeted support, we have created opportunities for people to reconnect with learning and with each other.
Celebratory Headlines
- 30+ adults engaged in sustained, ongoing participation.
- Wide community reach, including parents, carers and local residents.
- 20 individuals progressed into further learning or training.
- 3 adults supported into employment.
- 4 adults enroled on accredited basic skills courses.
Participants have not only taken part, but have continued to engage over time, demonstrating increased confidence, improved wellbeing and stronger community connections. This project has created a supportive pathway from engagement to progression, with real-life outcomes for individuals and families.
Multiply Programme (Adult Numeracy)
Our Multiply programme has successfully supported adults to improve their confidence and skills in maths, helping them overcome barriers to learning and unlock new opportunities.
Delivered in a supportive and accessible way, the programme has enabled adults to re-engage with education and develop practical numeracy skills for everyday life and employment.
Celebratory Headlines

- Adults engaged across multiple targeted cohorts
- Participants progressing into further maths learning and qualifications
- Increased confidence in numeracy and everyday problem-solving
The programme has helped adults who may have previously lacked confidence in maths to rebuild skills, re-engage with learning and take positive next steps. It has laid the foundations for long-term educational and employment progression.
Shared Prosperity Fund Project (People & Skills)
Through the Shared Prosperity Fund, we have expanded our work to support economic inclusion, skills development and community engagement.
This project has enabled us to work with a broad range of individuals, particularly those who are economically inactive or facing barriers to employment, providing them with opportunities to develop skills and move forward.

This funding has allowed us to reach deeper into the community, supporting individuals to build confidence, develop skills and take meaningful steps towards employment. It has strengthened our role as a hub for community learning, inclusion and opportunity.
