We are very proud to take part in the F1 in Schools Programme.

This programme is run by EESW (Engineering Education Scheme Wales) and seeks to develop the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) skills in our pupils.

As part of the programme, pupils work in teams to design, develop and race a model Formula 1 car. They also work to develop 'pit stops' to showcase their work, presentations to talk about their experience and undergo scrutiny from a judging panel to look in detail at their engineering designs. 

Our pupils in year 5 and 6 take part in the programme annually. We begin work in January time ready for the 'F1 season' later in the school year.   You can follow our journey on Twitter by following us @AllSaintsF1.
